Partnering with the Government to Transform Fort Worth
God has given us an assignment to take His love and power into our city, our region, and the nations to bring cultural transformation with the Kingdom of Heaven. Convergence has the amazing privilege of partnering with the Fort Worth Police Department to help meet the material, physical and spiritual needs of our community. God has orchestrated a strategic alliance that allows us to bring the presence of God and gospel of the Kingdom to broken, hurting areas in our city. As we go, we believe it is our mandate to feed the hungry, provide clothing for those in need, and take care of widows and orphans in their need. We understand that as we reach out to his people, we have been entrusted to co-labor with Him and walk in His power - healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and the power of the name of Jesus to save, heal, deliver, restore and transform lives.

"The Fort Worth Police Department is very pleased that Convergence has chosen to connect their school with our department in a way that benefits not only their church, but our city as well. If anyone would have any questions about this group or what they are doing in our city I would be pleased to answer any questions. They are a people of integrity, honesty and courage. The City of Fort Worth is a better place because of their loyalty and commitment to our city." - Mark Thorne, Sergeant FWPD
Outreach Wednesday:
Every Wednesday is Outreach Day at CSSM. Each student is part of an outreach program that invades the city to reach our city with the love of Jesus. A few of the outreaches available to our students are as follows:

City of Worship:
The heart of this outreach is to transform the city of Fort Worth through prophetic evangelism and worship that changes atmospheres and impacts lives. A time of worship and prayer leads us to a location in the city where the Holy Spirit desires for us to go. As we step out in obedience to His instruction, we co-labor to accomplish His agenda. Our mandate is to display the radical, life-transforming love of Jesus both overtly and covertly and to speak and sing words of life to God’s treasures.
As we go, we find that our own lives are also being transformed by His manifest presence! We grow in the power and character of Jesus and find ourselves increasing in boldness, radical worship, prophetic intercession, words of knowledge, and boldness and zeal for prophetic evangelism and healing. God loves His cities and His people! He always empowers us as we go to His hurting children and allow Him to work through us!

Weekly Chapel and Serving at Union Gospel Mission
The bible teaches that the righteous considers the cause of the poor (Prov. 29:7). God has provided us the privilege and opportunity to serve His precious homeless children of Fort Worth each week. Every Wednesday a team of staff and students from CSSM serves the vision of Tarrant County Union Gospel Mission to provide love, hope, respect, and a new beginning for the homeless of Fort Worth. Currently the Mission houses over 325 people each day in the 26-room Family Center for mothers with up to 4 children. They also provide 32 beds for women, 16 rooms for elderly women, and 200 beds for men. Each week we have the opportunity to serve in areas such as the warehouse and kitchen, as well as provide chapel services with worship and the Word: one for adults, and one for children ages 5-11. We are truly blessed as we serve this amazing work of God in our city.

Freedom for the Captives (Human Trafficking) Outreach
The focus of this outreach is to bring the Kingdom of God (Isaiah 61) to those trapped in human trafficking and/or sexually oriented businesses (HT & SOB) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area through intercession, worship, awareness campaigns, prevention efforts, and face to face ministry. Those involved with Freedom for the Captives will co-labor with the Lord to: impact HT & SOB through consistent prophetic and worship intercession, onsite and offsite; Receive training on how to minister to those in SOB; Serve other ministries which impact HT and SOB (Traffick911.org, TraffickStop.org, TSTOP.cwfa.org, Vickery Meadows Ministry, Rahab’s Place, Daughters of Grace, Joshua House, et. al); Do awareness campaigns along highways and areas where HT is occurring; Participate in an Awareness, Education and Prevention Campaign at Superbowl 2011 in Arlington, TX; Minister at homes which care for those rescued from HT and/or SOB; Help connect resources with women who work in SOB and their children; Share God’s love in strip clubs and other SOB as the Lord allows; Help organize and facilitate a symposium on human trafficking.

Adopt-A-Block/Apt. Complex:
Adopting a block/apartment complex means taking personal ownership in a part of our city! With help from the Fort Worth PD, we've targeted a few neighborhoods and apartment complexes to build relationships. We desire to give away a part of our lives to show people the love of Jesus. Whether we are playing with children in the park, providing a barbecue with games and face painting, or simply offering a listening ear and a hug, we want people to know that they are loved. It has been said that people don't care how much you know unless they see how much you care. Our desire is to see God’s presence impact hurting areas of our community with the Kingdom! Our partnership with the Fort Worth Police Department allows for special access into apartment complexes and areas of the city with problems such as poverty and crime. It is there that we can invade carrying the power that touches people and ushers them from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His marvelous light!

Public School After School Programs
Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, do not stop them, because the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." (Matt 5:13-14). The Lord has given us amazing favor with our public schools to pour into the lives of our youth! We have an open invitation in selected elementary schools to bring the presence of God into the lives of boys and girls once a week after school. We desire to crush the spirit of religion and show these children how fun, exciting, and amazing a relationship with Jesus is!There will be powerful worship and teaching of the word in a fun way that they will look forward to and won't want to miss ... because in His presence is fullness of joy! We have seen many miracles of salvation, healing and signs and wonders during our time with the children!

Widows/Convalescent Home
God has a heart of compassion for orphans and widows (James 1:27). We desire to reach out and provide encouragement, as well as meeting felt needs for those that are poor, broken, and lonely. We have been given the privilege of an ongoing relationship with a nursing home and rehab center in our community. We love, listen, pray, worship, pamper, give manicures and encourage our precious friends as they prepare to meet Jesus.
Treasure Hunts:
We believe that all people are God's treasures. We gather together, worship, and pray, and ask the Holy Spirit to give us specific instructions on where to go, who to look for, and how to pray and minister. During prayer, we write down the clues that he gives us. Next, we gather together, combine our lists and go out to all the areas that He has shown us. It could be a hardware store, Starbucks, a park…anywhere! Once there, we search out the people that match the list and obey His mandate to heal the sick, share the gospel, prophecy into people's lives ... sharing the love of Jesus in whatever way the Holy Spirit directs. The power of God and the testimonies of salvation, healing, restoration and deliverance we have witnessed are absolutely stunning!
